Accommodation

Möhkön Rajakartano, which served as a border patrol station back in the day, accommodates its guests in comfortable, unique suites. A pine forest and a view to the river surround the yard. In late summer, bilberries, lingonberries and boletes await you in the surrounding nature. The nature trail along the river has its origins in the timber rafting days, and since then fishers and beaver hunters have prayed at the Koitajoki river both by boat and from the shore. The peace of the wilderness is tangible. In the winter, we explore the nature by snowshoes and touring skis. April and May are a great time to follow beaver tracks and how waterfowl come to the river. On the border guards' patrol route you can ski guided along the border zone.

Mantan Majatalo, guest house, which offers comfortable apartment accommodation in cosy suites all year round. The place of accommodation is located in the Möhkö village by the Koitajoki river surrounded by quiet nature.
